Keith L. Lindsay is a partner at Edmond & Jones, LLP. Mr. Lindsay focuses his work in the areas of medical malpractice, catastrophic personal injury, trucking litigation, premises liability and general civil litigation. Mr. Lindsay gained litigation experience immediately after law school, serving as an Assistant District Attorney with the Fulton County District Attorney's office, during which time he prosecuted several hundred felony cases.
In 1990, Mr. Lindsay joined a prominent Atlanta defense firm, where he practiced for the next fourteen years, representing insurance companies and their individual and corporate insureds against injury claims and lawsuits stemming from trucking collisions, motor vehicle collisions, false arrests, defective premises, construction defects, and a variety of other types of claims, ultimately becoming a partner in the firm. During this time Mr. Lindsay had the opportunity to speak to various groups regarding litigation and insurance issues, and was published regarding liability issues in the transportation industry.
In January 2005, Mr. Lindsay joined Edmond & Jones, LLP, having elected to dedicate his experience, time and efforts to representing individuals who have suffered catastrophic injuries due to the negligence of others, and family members of those who, due to the negligent acts or omissions of others, have suffered a loss of life.
Mr. Lindsay is a native of Boston, but relocated to Atlanta with his family in 1975. After graduating from Dartmouth College in 1981, he returned to Atlanta, and attended Emory University School of Law, from which he obtained his doctor of jurisprudence degree in 1985. Mr. Lindsay is licensed to practice in the following courts: all Georgia lower courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
